On the tabletop, what role do you often place your Autarch in? (or Yriel) Do you use him to support your Banshees, Dire Avengers, Guardian Jetbikes, Seer Council or such? Also how do you equip your Autarch? (If you're not using Yriel that is...)
I personally take an Autarch with Warp Jump Generator, Mandiblasters, Fusion Gun, and Power Weapon and stick him in an 8 strong Warp Spider squad with Exarch, Powerblades, and Dual Death Spinners for a nice 10 power weapon attacks after a barrage of S6 shots and a melta shot.
Nothing can stop him! Nothing can stop him! ROFL
That's the most badass loadout I've ever seen man. I don't have an Autarch yet, but I was planning on getting one with a Fusion gun and adding wings. I need a good tank buster unit that can take a hit, as well as deliver one. Other than that, I guess a power weapon makes the most sense, at that point why would you not take mandiblasters? I'd do wings instead of a WJG just for the looks, what can I say I lose and look good than own with a force that looks like crap.
Does games workshop sell a model with the WJG or do you have to convert it? I ask because I have an extra pack from an exarch I haven't made yet (but will make if I don't need it). Did you convert yours or buy it?

The Tale of Two Gamers
One of the Autarch blisters comes with a Scorpion Chainsword, Mandiblasters, Warp Jump Generator (complete with fancy heirograms on the back), and a Fusion Gun. The other blister comes with Swooping Hawk Wings, Banshee Mask, Power Weapon, and Reaper Launcher. If your lucky enough to get your hands on it, there's a limited edition one that has just a Power Weapon and a Shuriken Pistol. I had to do a weapon swap with pinning on my Warp Jump equipped model due to the use of a Power Weapon (it came with the Chain Sword)
You listed my favorite non yriel autarch build. put him in with warpspiders and the unit becomes decent at CC and you can break him off to hunt targets on his own. The bike Autarch ( JB, mandiblasters, laserlance, and fusion gun ) works well in a jetbike army otherwise I find he sticks out to much. Lastly the simple mandiblasters, powerweapon in with a squad of stormies or banshies in a waveserpent. Cheap still effective and gives that lovely reserves bonus. Yriel tends to be put in the super council to crush everything or in with a fortuned wraithguard unit looking to spring out at anything that gets to close to them.
The times I do use a different HQ other than my jet-council, I'll add Yriel in with a squad of 5 DAs, push them onto an opponent's objective that he's holding on turn 4, I'll collapse with another squad, either the council or Banshees, this way it packs the punch to push off whatever is holding, and satisfies the troop choice to make it my own once I'm done cleaning up the mess

I really like my Jet'arch. Lance, fusion gun, mandiblaster. On the bike he get's the TL shuricat too, which can be handy. I've also run a banshee'tarch with mixed results.
I only field an autarch in 1500+ battles but when I do I have him with a Warp Generator, Power Weapon, Mandiblasters, Fusion Gun. He jumps around early game popping skimmerss or light armor and then joins the banshees later if they haven't been shot to pieces yet.
