I was reading the other thread discussing eldar flyers and It was mentioned several times that the Vampire Hunter was a really good unit in terms of survivability and the fire power it is capable of doing.
I was wondering if it would be the best flyer to use in a largescale apocalypse styled battle.
Also, how does its firepower and usefulness bode against another superheavy (say the revenant titan or the thunderhawk?).
Is it as capable versus other flyers as it is versus ground?
From what I understand, the Vampire is similar to the Thunderhawk in a lot of ways. As to which is better....I'd be curious.
I've always wondered what these super heavies bring to the table in terms of utility. Are they beneficial to one's army, or are they subpar and just their for fluff and looks?
Surely they provide some advantage!?
Also, which of the forgeworld super heavies are actually legal to play? I've even heard of people playing knight destroyer titan, tempest, and phantom titan... do rules on these models even exist?
