I have a unit of 10 stormboyz, and also Boss Zagstrukk, and I'm really wondering what is the best tactic to use these guys to the maximum potential. I have played with them twice, and so far they have let me down something rotten. Any tactical help would be mostly and greatly appreciated, thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't run any less than 13 stormboyz, and generally the more the better. Units of 15-20, with a nob, powerklaw and bosspole, are generally the most effective.
I HATE Boss Zagstrukk. I've never seen him do anything besides get his entire unit killed. Deepstriking with Stormboyz doesn't make much sense, since they're fast enough to get virtually anywhere on the board anyway, deepstriking is just an unnecessary risk. Also, the fact he only has a powerklaw the turn he assaults means that if you're assaulted, or if the fight lasts multiple rounds, you'll be at a severe disadvantage.
I personally use stormboyz as either a first wave, or as counter-assault. In speed freaks lists they'll be a great help against opponents focused on anti-armor, and in horde lists they'll help tie up your opponents and/or distract them from the rest of your forces.
They also work well when held in reserve, so they can make it a good way up the field before being shot at.
All this said, I only use them in larger games. In smaller games you're better off with trukks of slugga boyz, since they can also claim objectives.

Its based on Nachgal's tactica, but takes it even further. Nachgal tlks about smallish squads of 10-12, while Mushkilla is using the minimized squad of only 5 members! I played a game today against Imperian Guard, trying out this little tactica, and as expected / described in the tacica, my smallsized stormboys mob of 5 guys with one of them a Nob with BigChoppa, Bosspole and 'Evy armour, were not shot at because of the "not-so-dangerous-as-the-other-guys" sign in theire forehead. =D He didnt shoot at my stomboys until the very end, after killing one unit of guardsmen and immobilizing a Demolisher! But he acted to late, and the Dmolisher exploded the next turn. I must say, this tactica is very glasshammer-ish, an easy killpoint and may not threaten the bigger (and uglier) spacemarines. But they can be used and must be used with perfection to make the most of them. 5 man squad jumping 12" + D6" Boost + D6" Assault can reach where you most need them. And they can hide behind a small rock!. I hid mine behind his own Dmolisher, and he had to direct his cannon at my boys rather than shooting at juicier targets like trukkboys, or the battlewagon with 20 boys! This 5 man squad is a harassmentunit, and after this one game I played, i must say it workt great! I have to test it out more, but i like this even more than the bigger unit that ive tried before. Its just like the single Deffkopta, so small you can hide it, and its a "waste" even shooting at it. But it may kill stuff! and its very mobile. Your enemy can never be shure what will happen and what to do with your smallsized units.
