Welcome to Librarium Online!
First of all, my apologies if this topic has come up before, I had a brief look and couldnít find anything.
Iíve been wondering recently the history of these two Cítan yet to emerge from their slumber, Iím also curious as to what they might look like. So I guess what Iím asking is, could anyone please enlighten me as to where these two Star Gods are like? (if I get enough detail about them, I may be able to attempt some sketches J)
All I know sp far is that the Void Dragon is on Mars, and The Outsider is in a huge empty bubble somewhere.
Apparently they're all ethereal looking, with bodys looking like a larger humans would, although they can take any form they want,so it's up to your imagination tbh!
well yeah, thats a given, i know i could use my imagination, but id also like to know what their true form is if its been mentioned in books anywhere. - as ive only ever read Eisenhorn, and half way through the Ultramarines Omnibus :]
I've actually heard mention that the Void Dragon Doesn't look humanoid at all but rather, that it got it's name partially due to it's appearance.
I hear it's not bi-pedal but actually a quadroped and that its extremely techno-looking with giant energy/mechanical wings that arent actually attached but just kind of floating there in the position that wings should be, and that they're mostly decorative much like the Deathbringer's scythe.
" Are you gonna bark all day little doggy,
or are you gonna bite? "
Being C'Tan, they could technically take any form they choose. The Deceiver has had numerous encounters with humans taking the guise of a human himself. But if I was hard-pressed to come up with a sketch, I would base their appearance on the huge humanoid looking Deceiver/Nightbringer.
There are no concept drawings or sketches because I honestly believe GW hasn't come up with one yet. I'm guessing these guys are there in case, down the road, GW needs to write more fluff for the 'crons. If that ever happens, we'll get our answers then.
Whilst C'tan can take any form they choose, don't they have one distinct form?
They likely have a preferred form. I saw a fan-render of the Void Dragon last year sometime. They showed him as an immense serpent with a human torso, five heads, two pairs of dragon wings, and some big clawed arms.
Ok did some digging, here's a link to the pics, it was a spoof Dawn of War expansion, but again, the fan-render still looks pretty awesome.
Relicnews-VoidDragon Oh and the images are really really big...so good luck.
As for the outsider, I could really see him taking a form almost akin to a daemonhost. Straight-jacketed and being tethered to the ground or something.
For the record I've heard of someone using a my little pony on a base, painted metallic to represent their Deceiver.
as far as fluff is concerned they could never awaken the void dragon correct? wouldnt it destroy all of the imperiums technology?
the outsider could be plausible and would be just as dangerous as the 2 already out there
