Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm just curious about what to purchase next for my eldar army. I used some of my friends models for a recent store tourny (I CAME FIRST!). But here are the models I now own:
Farseer w/ Spear (Model is Awesome),
10 Dire Avengers,
10 Dire Avengers,
6 Fire Dragons,
6 Howling Banshees.
All with exarchs and extra upgrades etc.
I was wondering what I should go for next, I was thinking Wave Sepenty goodness but I'm still new to Eldar so I was hoping one of you could point me in the right direction.
Thanks in Advance.
Well since you're going in that direction, I'd pick up four Wave Serpents (one for each of the squads), another box of Howling Banshees to bring the squad to ten, and a pair of Fire Prisms(or you can buy Falcons and use my Fire Prism conversion guide in my signature below), after that you've got some personal points to tweak with.
i reckon you should get just 2 wave serpents to start with, and concentrate on getting some big hitters. i.e. wraithlords, fireprisms, or my new personal favourite, 2 squads of 3 warwalkers.. But like Fleeting Ęther said, fireprisms probably do suit your army the best
If you are going full mech then Fire Prisms are your best bet for Heavy Support, if you're going with a hybrid build, then Wraithlords can be a viable choice when supported by a small firebase of Guardians/Harlequins/Rangers etc.
One of the better firebase options is Eldrad, 8 Rangers, and 2 Wraithlords.

depends what ar,y you will be facing the most,
i am currently facing guard the most at the moment, and have virtually no AT
(today, i am having a guard vs marine vs eldar battle, because o have virtually no AT, i am hoping that the guard player will take out the land raider, and the marine player will take out all the guard tanks)
i would go for a waveserpent, and a fire prism, and maybe some jetbikes? they can really annoy your opponent if used well

I'd say Wave Serpents as well, to get those dragons and banshees where they need to go. After that, pick up whatever heavy support choice suits you (insert plug for Fire Prisms here)
