    Favorite LOOKING unit huh?

    mmmm I think that's kinda tough. Personally the Foot Necron Lord, Wraith and Flayed One are all really high up there.

    The Lord just has this awesome, archaic regal feel that I love, really shows the power and age of the force.

    Wraiths are creepy, intimidating, and very fluid, something I appreciate. Their model is a little depressing sometimes...darned tail always breaks off, or the arms.

    And Flayed Ones wear other people as hats. it pleases me immensely. Their claws falling off every time I touch them, however does not.

    Overall I enjoy all of the Necron units, the robotic, skeletal, terminatory feel of them is just great. Destroyers still weird me out a bit, I'm not a terrible fan of the beetle shell look.

    Oh, and Tombspyders are likely the most adorable unit in 40K.

    I think all of our models look menacing, but I do like the Ctan. I haven't owned or seen a Nightbringer in person, but I really like the way my Deceiver turned out.

    Wraiths seem to draw a lot of attention whenever I play them. They look like they should be classed as monstorus creatures they are so tall.

    @Dark Trainer
    That is a nice Deceiver! Have you put any wash on the cloth? Baal red would work well i think.

    But dude that does look epic!

    I think the Flayed Ones look epic, just the fact that they wear the skin of the dead Imperial Guardsmen that have just died is cool, when i get mine done, i'm hoping they will look awesome.

    Does anyone have an idea how to make the claws look cool? Like adding blood on them or something?

    It would be nice to get a new Monolith just as long as it isn't as fiddly as the current one. :-p

    Yes it's blood red, then a sepia GW wash, then highlighted blood red again. Yes, the shadows you see in that pic are painted (well 80% of them).
