On my two tyrants I have points spent on ImpAtk x2(16pts), BioPlasma x2(20pts), PsyScream x2(30pts), and the winged tyrant has Catalyst (10pts). I have 4 points left in my 2500pt army list. Do you think these 76 points listed here are being put to good use or should they be spent otherwise? I could add a 3rd tryant guard to my walking tyrant, or another ravener with rc,st for 45pts, and then use some of whats left, to buy some other abilities for the tyrants. For the 80points I have would you keep the biomorph enhancements and psychic abilities I have listed or go for the 3rd guard or another ravener and then using the points left to outfit the tyrants some?

First off who are you playing? because catalyst is rarely useful unless you are going up against some one who has higher Init than you say DE or where there is lots of cover for your opponent to strike back in cc.
Second Bio plasma on a tyrant? why? you do know that the bio plasma does not ignore armour saves right? there arent many armies where you will be striking last with a tyrant anyway, usually simutaneously with HQs in other armies but your bioplasma attack aint going to be doing much damage to an HQ since they still get their save and most likely have many wounds and T greater of 3 so you wont instant kill them? Which is really only a DE HQ which you really dont want to be getting into cc with your HT.
Implant attck is good so I would keep that, psychic scream can be very useful to so keep that aswel! but I would ditch bioplasma and also catalyst unless your playing an opponent with higher Init. than you or has lots of bunkers and places to hide in while you assault.

Thanks so much Slicer, that is exactly the answer I was looking for. I'm not looking to make these changes to face any specific army just some general opinions on spending points this way. Most of these were taken originally because I didn't wanna waste points in my 2500pt list, and at the time I didn't have the cash to buy another model, say another guard or another ravener to use the points so I bumped up some hive tyrant stuff. Now I can change that.

I pretty much agree with Slicer.

ImpAtt is a good option, since Your opponent most likely will try to deal with the Tyrant in CC at some point, and he will probably send the toughest models he can into the fray. Unsurprisingly, most often those are multiwounders against which the ImpAtt will help nicely.

Psychic Scream can be nice, and especially useful against opposing Psykers in the 4thEd. Most often I take this as a "fun" ability, rather than any specific notion of game effectiveness.

BioPlasma isn't usually of that much use since it's only really useful when Your Tyrant has been swarmed by a huge amount of low-savers, something like Guardsmen or Orks. Against vehicles it's also not that good, since it does not benefit from the TMC status of the Tyrant, and any vehicles it would really be useful against would be Skimmers anyway, which aren't that easy to catch.

The Catalyst could be of use if fighting in dense terrain and You really want to make sure the models get their attacks. Otherwise I just find it better (if more expensive) to just have my Gaunts with AdrG I. Of course, Catalyst could still be used on say, Carnifex, to make sure it gets some hits through against the nasty enemy HQ unit... I wouldn't use Carnifex to do so, this was merely an example of a situation it could be good in.
