Can you attack with a boarding plank, then disembark and assault?
Since you use the boarding plank in the assault phase and you can't go back to the movement phase after your assault phase, no. At least how it reads to me.

Thanks for reply, it doesnt actually say which phase the attack takes place in the codex so i was unsure, i was thinking maybe the attack could take place in the shooting phase then you could assault like normal.
Assault attacks always happen in the assault phase. There is no exception, not in all of 40k. As the Prince of Excess said, since you can only disembark in the movement phase, by the time you use the boarding plank, it's too late to assault.
You can, however, still ram or use a deffrolla or wrecking ball and still assault, so those should probably be the options to look in to if this is the outcome you're looking for (my preference would definitely be the deffrolla).
