Welcome to Librarium Online!
So, for those of you unfamiliar with the PE rules, there are assets placed on the tiles like shield generators, command bastions, etc. Different races get variable bonuses based on the assets. The Eldar's biggest advantage is in holding command bastions, which gives them the chance to add USRs to a few units in the army. So I'm curious what combinations people would add if they could take say 2-3 units in their army an add a USR. Relentless Reapers? Infiltrating Wraithlords? Fleeting Scorpions?
Furious Charge - Banshees
Preferred Enemy - Banshees/Scorpions/Harlequins
Infiltrating - Wraithguard/Shining Spears/Harlequins/Fire Dragons(flank strike in transport)
Relentless - Dark Reapers/Rangers/Pathfinders
Tank Hunters - Warp Spiders(S7 against vehicles)/War Walkers/Seer Council(S10 against vehicles)
Stealth - Shining Spears/Guardian Defenders/Wraithguard
Feel No Pain - Seer Council (The one weakness of the Seer Council, massed fire is now even more worthless)
Hit & Run - Seer Council/Wraithguard(Retreat and fire? Yes please!)
Fleet of Foot - Avatar of Khaine(You can run but you can't hide!)/Eldrad(The super council just got scarier)
That's all I can come up with at the moment
Scratchbuilding Fire Prism Crystals
2K Mech Eldar in 2010: 25Win/4Lose/8Draw
FNP Wraithguard. All I can say is holy crap.
FNP Council. <-- This is just disgusting.
FNP Anything really. (FNP Avatar = o s%*$ if you are using guardian horde)
FC for banshees is huge.
FC & Fleet for SS.
Most of what Fleeting said.
Infiltrating councils. Turn one charge anyone?
I play an all wratih army and the first thing I thougth of when I saw that was FNP and stealth on Wraithguard with a conceal warlock and fortune they'd be damn near invulnerable.
Scout on a bike council. Charge on the first turn at just about anything on the board. Only possible defence would be to win the roll off for first or seize. Fleet of foot for scorpions would also open up the possiblity of first turn charges and in general make them much scarier. And in general FnP works wonders at making our rather fragile eldar survive. The idea of infiltrating our MCs does make me laugh. For a more oddball idea how about relentless support weapon batteries. D cannons that can move and shoot could actually be very scary.
grrr just noticed this was originally posted last year oh well.
