Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm assembling my Devilfish, and I was wondering if the gun turret that mounts it from underneath is supposed to swivel around or not. I'm a bit confused on its design as the piece that lays on top of the part that contains the gun doesn't seem to lie in it flush, and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be gluing.
yes, i beleive it is suppose to, having a view of everywhere except straight backwards.
There are three kinds of people in this world, those who can count and those who cannot.
Are the circular hatches on the side supposed to open up, or just be glued close?
On the Crisis Battlesuit, am I supposed to glue the weapons to its arms, or something else? What if I want to use a different weapon at a different time?
try using just blue tac for the weapons not much just alittle, and for the gun turret for the Dfish, when you undercoat it make sure the paint doesnt clump up around there, or the paint will dry and make it stuck in place, i hope i helpt.
You dont glue the gun turret or the burst cannon at all. Just glue the wierd shaped cap thing to the body of the devil fish to cover the turret. That way the turret can swivel and the burst cannon can move up and down.
Re Crisis suits: never glue your weapons to the arms, unless you're absolutely certain you'll never want to change them out for something else. Most people use magnets now to attach their XV8 weapons to the models.
The DF burst cannon does not swivel through 360°, but the only thing you should be using glue on is the plastic piece which is used as a retainer. Dry-fit it first to see which edges require the glue.
"Tau Commandment #226: Participants who use Velocity Trackers in the Tau Clay Pigeon Tournament will be disqualified"
All Tau vehicles come with a instruction booklet, which tells you what parts to glue and not to glue.
You can place your weapons, on the crisis suit, either on the arms or shoulders.
There are great suggestions, already here, on how to do it. I just glued mine on, as I don't plan to change them.
