Hello guys, I'm thinking about playing the second army as the Tau and thought it would be better to post seperate intro of myself in this thread. I'm originally the Ultramarine player (my ID shows the obvious fact) and when I got bored of how easily I can defeat opponents with marines, I decided to challenge myself to try more "not for a beginner" army, well, I picked Tau.
I was mainly drawn to the fact that it had awesome armor and weapons (who doesn't want big railguns on your shoulder? )
I have read all of the tacticas and what the epxerts here had to say about the Tau and posted my "experimental" army list of 2000pt that I'll eventaully end up by next summer or fall. So if you see any major problem or different opinion, please feel free to reply truthfully.
I just bought my first fire warrior box, so I'm excited like a kid that found portable nuclear launcher under the christmas tree (I'm referring to Fallout 3 if you guys are wondering )
Hopefully I'll contribute as much as I can here.

Welcome to the Greater Good! We Tau are always happy to accept new Gue'vesa friends, especially if they come with power armour.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.
