    Wave serpent on the cheap

Can you take a wave serpent under 100pts? or are you forced to take the cheapest upgrade which makes it 100+?

The wargear description makes it seem like you're forced to give it at least a suriken catapult.

Yea you have to give it a turret weapon, the cheapest of which is a shuriken cannon for 10 points. Its not a bad deal though, take the cannon and spirit stones upgrade and you've got a very good transport which won't cost you tooooo much (unlike the BL version).

I agree. If high speed is central to your strategy spirit stones are ESSENTIAL. If you wanna make the most of your eldar you have to push your advantage where ever you can get it. If the advantage you want is speed make sure that you get it.

On the flipside, lol, vector'd engines are total trash and i would never touch them. Not even with a 10 foot pole.

Ha ha. The one time I took vectored engines, they came in useful.

In other words, never use Vectored engines. Lol
