I originally planned to have a shooty ork army. Flash Gitz (even though forums like this told me not to), Lootas, Looted wagons, killkannons and such. But I recently took a look at warbikes and decided to put in a few of those, then decided to get Wazzdakka then decided to play a speed based army. But I already spent some money on shooty so I've come to a compromise:
2-3 squads of 10 warbikers with pk and Bosspole toting nobs
A battlwagon with boyz in it
Then the leftover points (for a 1500 game) for anything to lob shells.
Now I would love some suggestions and should I put in some trukks or another battlewagon to carry da Boyz?
First, if your going to do a total of 30 biker boyz (3 squads of 10 you said?) then you should try to break those up a bit, or lower them more. It's nice that wazzdakka can cause those bikers to be scoring units, so make sure you've got some small squads for objective grabbing and contesting. However, 30 bikers is a little expensive. I'd advise you to go down to 20 and make a two 5 man and one 10 man squads. Then, take the extra points and put it into slugga boyz in trukks, or shoota boyz walking.
I agree, bikes don't benefit much from being grouped together in large groups, and it reduces the number of powerklaws you have in your army. I'd only use groups of 5-6 bikes, each with a nob, powerklaw, and bosspole.

Battlewagons filled with Shoota Boyz will perform much better for a shooting list than large units of Bikers. Even with 10 Bikes and a Pole they can run pretty easily and than you're out a large points investment.
Battlewagons with Troops, Lootas, Buggies/Koptas with Rokkits are all a lot more reliable and helpful to what you want to do.
I've seen a lot of people wanting to use Wazdakka lately, he looks like a waste to me on paper. Never seen him used in a game, of heard of him used (which makes me feel a bit better about not favoring him) but I can't speak on him to much.
Well fo one warbikes look great to me. he have a 4+ cove save and two wounds, so they are durable enough to get to the front line, Turbo boost to get there quickly, and have twin linked (Good for BS2) strenght 5 ap 5 weapons! Then their PK toting leader can destroy once they are in close combat. Here are a few reasons why I picked Wazdakka:
1. Strength 8 Assualt 4 weapons
2. Turbo-boost and still shoot.
3. He fits into my fluff nicely

That would be a mis-print my friend. They do indeed have 1 wound. Nob Bikers have 2.

I would like to point out that i've seen the nastiness of a 10 man strong biker squad assaulting anything. It can be devastating to the most hardy of opponents.
