I'm curious what all your dark eldar models look like, just out of curiosity's sake.

If you have any pictures, I would gladly take a look...

I paint my Dark eldar by starting with a white undercoat ( there was no black left in the store) and paint on 2 coats of red gore ( watered down of course) then put on 2 coats of chesnut ink (not watered down) to accent the armour edging and to give the models a bit of shine!

You know, I really have to apologize,

I did a bunch of Shadow Grey warriors, then hated them.

Now basically everything is only primed, albeight awesomely converted (raiders, ravagers. . . . . . . . drools).

Anyways, but they will prolly be painted using the Ulthwe Strike Force color scheme. . . . .

cuz it is cool, plus it will ***** off Eldar players.

My warrior follow the old kabal of the black heart scheme ((bloood red heads, black bodies and arms, shining gold done across the armor like my avatar of an archon))

Our DE are mostly black. The armour parts are black and the cloth parts and most of the hilighting is a dark blue.Spikey bits are all metal of course. All hair is done in deranged colours, like anime characters, and most of them have extra hair modeled onto them.None of us really like the whole "bald with a ponytail" look

well, due to my limited amount of paints, I use all armour in blood red, and boltgun for spikes, and red for eyes, lol

its a lot of boltgun and blood red, and a touch of gold in places. We need new dark eldar models to look good no matter how bad we paint them (I'm not saying mine are bad)

They just lack some detail compared to the pictures shown in the fluff which is drawn.

what is the eldar ulthwe colour scheme anyhow?

well i prime black then i do a basecoat of goblin green and but burnished gold on the sholder plates and the spikey bits on the legs then i do the hair in brown and drybrush it with a lighter brown and then highlight with white

then and most importantly i give a very light drybrush of skull white to the goblin green and the guns are in mithril silver with a black wash to make them look rusted the eyes and mouth thing are also white.

I do my std warriors in a pearlized dark blue, with silver (testor brand) for the major highlight and black for the details. I then paint the hair white with black streaks and finish it all off with a pealized silver dry brush.

My wyches and mandrakes are in black with flesh and red details,

My scourges are similar to the wyches only with the pearlized blue drybrush and yellow hair.

My bikes are done in insectile pattern of gold and purple with riders looking like red and black spiderman costumes.

Ravagers and raiders have the same pattern as the bikes, but with green and gold instead of purple.

the whole look is one of an army of bugs, which is why I call them the Cabal of the Scorpion Sting.
