I was reading a topic around here and there was a discussion about beasts not being able to move into building or ruins because they were beasts. I have scoured the B R B and can find nothing of the sort. Can somebody clear this up?
this is a very obsure rule, because it is no-where near the beasts section. The bit your looking for is the top of page 83. To quote it "... acordingly only infantry, jump infantry, jetbikes, MCs and walkers may move up a ruin..."
Your friendly neighbourhood gargantuan creature
Isn't that countered by the fact that all tyranid models are considered infantry?
p33 - Leaping grants 12" charge and 3" range to another model in its unit that is base-to-base for attacking, but are not considered beasts
p33 - Winged are treated as jump infantry in all respects
p35 - Hive Tyrants are monstrous creatures
p41 - hormagaunts are beasts
p42 - raveners are beasts
p46 - carnifexes are monstrous creatures
All else would be infantry

Hm, I remember reading somewhere that all nids are considered infantry. Maybe it was in a faq. I'll poke around and see if I can find it again.
