Welcome to Librarium Online!
So I just have a quick question about how many attacks the striking scorpions get in the assault phase (not taking charging into effect or anything). The normal models have a base attack of 1 and mandiblasters so that is 2 attacks, but they also have a shuriken pistol so does that add one more onto their attacks making it 3? I thought if they had pistols the extra attack would be incorporated in the codex but perhaps I was wrong. Can anyone help clarify this for me?
Thanks a lot - John
In combat striking scorpions have 3 attacks. On the charge they have 4. You include all of those bonuses. They can also fire their weapon on the charge, giving each a total of 5 attacks when you charge in (4 melee, 1 shooting).
There not too bad then are they............S4 as well....
Typically, the bonus attack for having a pistol and a CCW (or two CCWs) is never posted in a unit entry. You have to add the extra attack in yourself. Sometimes it does get posted in the entry, however, but in every case of this it will state something along the lines of "The extra attack is included in the profile above." Remember, models don't get an extra attack for having pistols; they get an extra attack for having pistols AND close combat weapons.
Or two pistols, right?

I believe the Company Commander may replace his pistol and/or close combat weapon with another pistol. I'm not sure why you'd want a Pistol/Plasma pistol or two plasma pistols, but another unit that could do it. :p
