As some of you may know, there's a thread in Rules Development about homebrew special characters (found here: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1628420)
I was thinking while I was reading through this process that although there are special characters for most other kinds of Ork, like Warboss (Ghazghull), Painboy (Grotsnik), Biker (Wazdakka), Weirdboy (Zogwort), Stormboy (Zagstruck), Flash Gitz (Badrukk) and Kommandos (Snikrot), but no special character for Meks! So, using the process that IofRaw developed, I have created Sawtoof, Big Mek and general unpleasant character. His stats are on the link above, but here they are as well:
Big Mek Sawtoof:
There are many reasons why an ordinary Ork boy may become a Mek, but self preservation is usually not one of them. Sawtoof however, is a different case. Abandoned on a wrecked Forge World by his Warboss for daring to work on the Boss' favourite shoota (and putting in a fairly explosive and dangerous upgrade in the process, much to the Boss' surprise), Sawtoof had to learn how to defend himself from the planet's local residents, and quickly. The nature of the planet offered the Mek almost unlimited resources, and using his own latent abilities, Sawtoof was able to produce a number of unwieldy, yet ultimately deadly, creations to defend his own small patch of the planet. Sawtoof also developed various personal protections just in case whatever native inhabitants managed to get past his outer defenses. Inevitably, word spread about Sawtoof's exploits, and now he roams the stars with whichever warband can offer him the greatest amount of scrap and bitz that he uses to make even more of his lethal contraptions.

Sawtoof has a Supa Kustom Killy Blasta, Platey Bitz, Kustom Force Field, Sawtoof's Axe, Mechanical Attack Squig, Mek's Asistents and Mek's Tools
Supa Kustom Killy Blasta:
This mechanical monstrosity is as deadly as it is confusing to look at. It has the following profile:
SKKB: Range: 24" Str 7 AP 2 Assault 3 Get's Hot!
Sawtoof has cobbled together a horrendous array of cogs, metal sheets and assorted paraphernalia, so much so that it's difficult to determine his actual physical size. Sawtoof's Platey Bitz gives him a 3+ armour save.
Kustom Force Field:
This acts exactly the same way as a Big Mek's Kustom Force Field, except that it also gives Sawtoof a personal 5+ invulnerable save.
This axe's haft and head are laced with crackling arcs of green electricity. It is a power weapon.
Sawtoof's long-suffering assistants are always on hand and are ready to supply their Mek with both ammunition or an extra spanner, depending on the situation. These three grots can either act as Grot Oilers or Ammo Runts. You may use them to re-roll either a Mek's Tools result or re-roll a single shooting roll, but not twice or both in the same turn. Remove the model once the roll is made as per usual.
I combined a Big Mek with KFF with Kaptin Badrukk, changing the descriptions of the wargear to better suit his backstory and fluff. Anyway, I was hoping to get your opinion(s) on him, both to do with his rules as well as his fluff. Cheers!

Constructive comment there, Klemanius , howdy, btw. Everyone else, this was my collaborator.
Well I cannot speak t the rules (though they seem pretty balanced) I really like this character Idea. His fluff is great and I think the model could look great with his Platey Bitz (if it ever got made or converted).
In the same vein, they got rid of Zodgrod Wortsnagga the Runtherd Special Character. I really like my Zodgrod model he was just a super solid good looking model.
