Okay. In such a small game you definitely want to take as many warriors as possible to increase your phase out total. This would mean taking 11 of them at 198 points to still leave room for the Lord (without wargear) making your total 298.

    Have a nice day!

P.S. While you could take less warriors in order to take Scarabs or give you Lord wargear, keep in mind that then your opponent would only need to kill 3 or 4 of your warriors to phase you out.

Glad to be of service. Also, keep in mind that it will be even more essential than normal for you to make the best possible use of the terrain, since your only units are going to be at a lower initiative than your opponents entire army. If you can't avoid being attacked in close combat by your opponent, try to get your warriors into cover before it happens so that at least you'll strike first. The Lord's staff of light will eat Marines for lunch at a range or in combat, so it's really just the warriors that you have to worry about. Good luck!

you cannot even field such a small army with the necrons. at least not if you want it legal, but i suppose you won't play "legal armies" with that few pts. anyways, i'd get as many warriors as possible. forget about the lord and go 100% for warriors.

I dont suggest loosing the Lord, his Staff kicks ass (AP 3 is good against Marines). It is also handy to have a T5 unit in a small game, as it is like having a Ctan in a 1500pt game. His S5/T5 will give him a definate bonus in such a small game. Make use of cover, and if you have an objective, concentrate on it.
