    Mawlock vs. Trygon

I didn't see this up, but if it already is, sorry. So what is better overall in a balanced army against any army?

    The mawloc.

    The trygon.

    Actually, both.

    Actually, neither.

Gone are the days of: There Is One Clearly Best Unit!
Gone are the days of: There Is One Clearly Best Unit Combo!
Gone are the days of: There Is One Clearly Best Army Build!

We have a shiny new codex that represents all the Good Things GW Has Done Right Since 5th Edition 40K. Neo-Tyranids are here ... and they are awesome. They have been built to stand the test of time and even future overall game edition changes.

In all seriousness, there really is no answer to your question. You should use the one you like best. The one that works best with your army list and your tactics. And without a full army list that you intend to employ around the beasts, there's no knowing which might work best for you.

But rest assured, like almost every other unit in the codex, they're Just Plain Good Enough that you can make them work for you almost no matter what. The days of limited tactical options are gone ... and gone forever.

It's a brave, new, and much more FUN world with the Bugs From Beyond. Go enjoy!
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.
