It's been a while since I've been here and I havn't played since the 4th edition codex came out and only got around to buying the battle force with the Carni.
Other than that it's all 3rd edition models I've been dusting off and rebuilding.
I don't have the 5th edition, yet. The sheer number of new units, new unique tyranids, and 5 point Termagaunts!
I have also come torealize my Red Terror is no longer a playable characterer.
Anyone seen, in person or a picture of, a Serpentine Hive Tyrant? I would like to do a simple conversion using the tail section of my red terror, the upper body of my 3rd edition tyrant, and a 3rd edition Zoanthrope head.
Or possibly the Redterror's body if the Tyrant's doesn't look right.
Any point costs or advantadges or rules prohibiting this?
I'll be using the 3rd edition Zoanthrope body for The Doom of Malan'tai, my new favorite special character, sounds like a fun model to use.
I look forward to picking up the new Codex and a new couple models soon.
Yea, though i walk through the valley of the shadow and death I shall fear no evil: for i am the meanist son-of-a-b1tch in the valley.

The fun ones are the tervigon, harpy and tyrannofex as their drawings make them some of the large non-apoc models, their description says MC, but nothing on base size. I am making mine on 120mm oval bases, just hope that holds up if they ever come out with official models.

Try having a poke through this lot, there are some well converted bugs in there.buglands
That second Tyrant is very good Badmovies.org.
I've not used him at all but why is the Red Terror unplayable?
The new dex has no rules for him, has a bit of fluff that mentions that he has been sighted on many worlds but it has never been "confirmed" that he isnt a ravener or trygon so yeah.
On a separate note I was planning on doing a serpentine winged tyrant made from a ravener but since the new dex has come out I've changed him to the Parasite of Mortrex as I think the size is more appropriate. Good luck with the conversion,
Ah, think i may have been confusing The Red Terror and Death Leaper. My bad.
