    Trygon Model Question

I just got my Trygon in yesterday and started building it and realized that the Trygon Prime model is...kinda lame....

I really wanna mix and match parts to make my Trygon Prime (such as the cheek mandible deal, tongue, and tail).

Would this be acceptable to use all around town or should I just suffer a bit and hope I like it eventually?

From what I've seen, having either an open mandible or closed mandible is about the only thing that separates a prime from a Mawloc. I would guess that as long as you keep that differentiated you should be fine with mixing up the other stuff.

This is the slightly customized Trygon Prime I made:

I didn't like the mandibles, nor the tail that they use for the Prime, so I used the Mawloc mandibles with the little feelers cut off, and the Mawloc tail. It is different that my vanilla Trygon, and meaner looking.

Don't forget to include delicious pancakes with your model conversions, otherwise your Trygon may get hungry and cranky and come after you!!

In the modeling section I posted a rundown of what I did to magnetize the trygon/prime/mawloc head/tail bits.

That way you can customize/swap/rotate any of the head options at anytime to make one however you want.

Might give you some options in case at a later date you dont like what you originally planned for it.

Just make sure everyone knows what it is when you start playing. There isn't too much difference between a Trygon/Prime/Mawloc, and if you're using a lot of Mawloc extras to make a Prime you may end up confusing someone.

If I want to add some flavour to models I tend to make the stock standard 'true to form' variant, then add bits. So, if I had a Prime, it would look like a Prime with extra bits, rather then a semi mutated Mawloc with an identity issue.

I took that in the middle of the blizzards we had during February. Those are my special pancakes that the kids love (they have cinnamon, vanilla, and chopped almonds), so the subject line of the early morning email I sent to my friend with the picture was "Breakfast?"
