So I have been tempted to make the Green Goblin model, and I'm wondering if anyone has a good image of one, or has used one.
(Whats the Green Goblin model Krayduk)
Well I have to say, part of the reason I started playing Dark Eldar was because Hellions look like the Green Goblin. (I'm a fan), but after just a few games I shelved my Hellions, and havent looked back. They suck that bad.
Anyway I'm going to field a Green Goblin, but I want him to be at least a little worthwile. I just cant decide how to do it.
Heres what I'm thinking.
Archon or Dracon with Agoniser, Hell Mask, Shadow Field, Hellion Skyboard, Xenospasm, and Plasma Grenades
Kinda expensive for a model that could just die, maybe I should switch out the Agoniser for poison blade and Haywire Grenades.
I'm thinking of the Dark Elf Assassin model as a good model to convert. give him a splinter pistol, put him on a skyboard... It could work.
I am keeping him cheap as I intend to deep strike him and dont want to risk allot of points on a model that might just die flat out.
Maybe a Hamy would work better, but I'm not sure Lets see...
Haemonculus with scissor hands, hell mask, shadow field Hellion Skyboard, plasma grenades, haywire grenades.
Pretty cheap, shadow field gives good survivability, would get owned in hth, but that kinda matches the fluff... Wonder If I should even waste a shadowfield on him...
Deepstrking him behind a unit of (brain fart... those units of infantry with lots of heavy guns) then trying to keep them pined for the rest of the game, and if they pass the pin test I assault to try to keep them stuck in hth that way) He probably wont make his points back, but could be very fun, and If I can model him correctly he could just look great.
What do you guys think, how would you model him, and what would you equipe him with.

Fun but with a skyboard hes not going to be that competitive, I'd personally go with haemonculus as they seem to operate better on their own, however I've only just started dark eldar so I'm not sure.
Why not use a striking scorpion model for him? (or most of the eldar aspect warriors), they're basically exactly the same.
ooh yeah your right this guy
would look great on a skyboard with a different head Something that has a big crazy smile... gotta keep looking
Oh and yeah, I know the Skyboard wont be competative, but he should be pretty fun, and that's all that matters
found the head

Agreed, I'd rather go with the Haemonoculus rather than a Dark Eldar Lord. My Lord gets a Jetbike or a Raider, due to how critical it is for her to get into CC. However, swooping a Haemonoculus with RJBs (or dare I say Hellions) would be interesting. I would definitely go with a Destructor though; can't pass up on the extra Skyboard mobility to put the pain on things with that flame template.
In fact, deep striking a skyboard Haemonoculus with a Destructor would be an awesome counter to Lone Wolves or Ork Lootas. For one shooting phase only.
while I have not PLAYED Dark Eldar at all yet (I am looking for deals, but am also maybe holding out till the revamp), I would think a haemonculi would be best too, but since he is more for fun that efficiency, I would say set him up like this:
shadow field (ok, maybe you could leave this out if you use an archon or something that needs it, however I just planned on running haemonculi)
He could deepstrike or move to be pretty mobile and with haywire grenades, he could even pop armor. Plus he would look cool :-)
Competitive? probably not. Fun? indeed :-D
Yep I've decided on the Haemonculi with no shadowfield. I have 2 other Hamies in raiders so this guy is just for fun and if he dies I should still have a chance of winning.
Now to start converting.
Give him a terrorfex so he has a chance to pin something and actually *maybe* survive. If it works, that's more effective than killing a few dudes with a destructor. It's also slightly better ranged, which makes it easier to use when deep striking. Just my 2¢.

I'm still giving him the Xenospasm, I feel it matches the Pumpkin Bombs perfectly. Causes damage, and releases a mind altering gas. perfect. pluss if he can pin a devistator squad for a couple turns he makes his points back, in my mind.
