Welcome to Librarium Online!
As the title says, approx how many times as a percentage of your games do you think you've been phased out? Percentage makes more sense because if it was done as a number obviously some people play alot more games than others. Possibly put a number in if you post a reply as well.
I was wondering because it often seems to be thrown around this board as a win button against necrons, and I'm not sure people realise how hard it can be to knock out 75% of a necron army.
Personally I've never been phased out in about 9 years of necrons so I'm very curious. I've once or twice been taken to within 1 model and then WWB bought some more back. The couple of games where that's happened I've lost anyway but it wasn't actually due to phase out.

Ive voted 21-30, but I counted PO while I losed "hardcore" too.
I put 31-40%, but now that I think about it more like 21-30%. Anyways. There's a small flaw in this poll as it very much depends on who i'm fighting. If I'm facing Orks, it's just a matter of time before they assault me and start sweeping my warriors. Played Deamons, he dropped in front of me, and of course next turn proceeded to flame/destroy a squad forcing the WBB's to join another squad, and that squad became like 21 with lord because of the merger...assaults with 2 MC's and I lose like 3 guys...SWEEPS 18 guys off the board!
What I'm getting at is CC armies can be very brutal (hence I bring the Ctan now for anti assault), but against shooty armies like Guard, Tau, etc I don't tend to phase out. Also is this based on of all my losses only (that's how I voted), I do win my fair share too.
As to killing 75% of crons, it's honestly very easy if you have some STRONG CC and can win combat. Everything is tough to knock out Necrons, but assault winning by just 3 wounds puts me on a 7 to test...that's horrible!

Well at ld 7 you've still got about a 60% chance to pass haven't you? And then still the possibility of managing to get away.
7 is actually a 50% chance, and your dice always decide they don't love you enough on rolls like that. Heck mine like to fail when I have a 90% chance.
Anyway, I've got a pretty heavy phase out percentage, 40-50% might just be me being lenient. Almost all of my phase outs have been because an opponent got 1 or 2 close combat units into my warriors. From there it just becomes a chain of face poundings and sweeping advances, usually always game over though (I've even been phased in CC by Tau, my dice hate it that much.)
The other times I've been phased, it's been against IG. Generally down to thinking something has cover (or is in res-orb range) then finding out it's not the hard way.
Recently I've had a few more games where I wasn't phased out, but still got beat pretty hard by a friend who runs blood angels.
I wouldn't know the exact percentage but it'd definitely be in the 1-10% range. Probably owing to the one game I went survivalist, allowing my opponents to bring in a second wave of troops. (Yes, I'm that good and the dice love me!)

I put 1-10% because I usually play pretty conservative with my warriors and move out of harms way as much as possible sacrificing shots to keep my guys untangled. The times I have been phased out it is because of either A) forward action missions in a campaign against a CC based army or a fast moving CC army got up in my business faster than I could redeploy myself.
I have only been phased out twice. Once because of ravenwing bikers smashing my guys to pieces and the other my necron lord decided it was a great idea to get him and the 15 warriors he war with killed my DSing into a bunch or ruins. Most people tend to stay away from the assault because of the C'Tan that is hanging around though. I get a hell of a lot of draws though.
