I was reading tacticas for the DE and a question stroke me... for troops that have combat drugs when do I roll to know what bonus they are affected with, is it right off as soon as they are placed on the table top or when I make my first assault or before I deploy...
On the same idea if my troop has the 12" assault bonus and I have a succubus with dispenser, do I need to pick the 12" assault for the succubus? I know in the codex it says the dispenser makes the character get is own set of bonus but I just wanted to make sure...
you roll the dice before you deploy,
and yes your succubus would need to roll the 12" assault move if your enemy is more than 6" away, im not sure which page, but in the movement section, it states all squads move as fast as the slowest member, so vice versa you couldnt use the 12" charge of the succucbus to bring just her into an assault.
on a side note i never remember to roll for my drugs during seployment, i usually remember the first time i use them, or in the case of my wych's. first time i disembark lol, which i know is wrong but im forgetful :s
combat drugs are one of the biggest assets dark eldar have, just dont overdose
Fantasy : Empire, Chaos Warriors, Chaos Daemons, Vampire Counts, Beastmen, High Elves, Lizardmen( but i have opinions on every army just not the money)
40k: Black Templars, Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar, Tau (thinking of Eldar)
Thanks I'll try not getting addicted
Ah, I believe its after deployment but before battle begins.
I do very wish I could know what my wyches have before I deploy them but that is not the case, only Lelith and her retinue will ever know their combat drug before deployment.
