Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi, i just started orks and i decided to try out warbuggys but my budget isn't too great right now. I read somewhere that warbuggies can easily be made by converting deffkoptas but i have yet to see a finished product. Now i am not that good at converting but practice makes perfect. So it would be greatly appreciated if someone could post some end products of warbuggy conversions preferrably deffkoptas since i have quite a few laying around but if there is another cost effective way then please post that as well. Thanks for your time and sorry for the terrible grammar. -Exile
All you really need to do is remove the kopta blades and add a means of propulsion. Some wheels work, if you have them (either 40k or from a toy), but I just put a barrel on back of the kopta in order to make it look like a rocket.
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
The barrel on the back sounds awesome, rocket buggies sound so orky! Did you put fire shooting out of it and is there any chance of pic? Thanks for the help and i will look into the old toy box. xD
Here's one I made from a plastic deffkopta, some spare wheels and other assorted bitz.
The rockets are those from the front of the buggy, mounted on the bit that goes over the pilots head (the bit that the rotor bladdes are on, I don't know what it's called)
Sorry about the pic being a bit hard to make out, the suns been behind clouds (uncharacteristically) and I couldn't get good light.
I can see it just fine. Looks great, thanks for the help!
If you do use wheels, make sure you use 4, since 2 makes them a little too close to Bikes, IMO.
I'm currently trying to figure out how to combine 2 2nd Ed. trukks and 5 DeffKoptas into 3 buggies... Not quite sure how to yet...
Any tips on removing the over-arcing blade holder part? I wish I didn't glue the two halves together yet, but I did, and when I started trying to snip them the model started coming apart since it was so tough...
I am verbose. Sorry.

I've got one started and im liking the way it looks with just 3 wheels on it.
The over arcing blade i whittled away with an exacto knife because i too glued it together before converting. Once you have it removed just give it a good file and its like it was never there.
