I want to make the Runtherd into a Nob with:
I'm not quite sure what you want. You could just cut the arms and head off a Runt Herd and put it in the relevant locations on a Mega Nob.

If you have a Runtherd model (but no mega armor nob model) and you effectively want to give your Runtherd the mega armor I suggest using three shoulder pads from boyz/nobz set, green stuff and exacto.
Glue one shoulder pad to each shoulder and one across the throat, below the nose/eye level. Then put enough (=much) green stuff on legs, arms and chest, making sure you cover those parts completely. Let the GS cure for a day and go at it with exacto knife. At this point the GS should be quite hard, but not solid and you can easily cut it with exacto into square shapes to make it look more "armourish". Last add some bitz and a combi-weapon. Add more bitz. Done.

It's very difficult to 'fake' mega armor. It's supposed to be very bulky, and the model itself is supposed to fit on a medium (terminator) sized base. The only way to really do it is to put the runtherder's head and equipment on either a mega nob or terminator.
