    You beat me to it!
I was constantly looking yesterday for the update.
I'll be getting at least 2 Fire Prisms from my local store (I know eBay can be great too, but don't forget to support your local store/gaming place).

Wow, those support weapons are pretty snazzy! Hopefully their rules get updated in Spearhead to not suck.

Maybe as an upgrade to a Guardian squad? Mmm...Just imagine.

yeah, i'm proberley going to get 1 or 2 off the fire prism/ nightspinner. I'm a bit disappointed that its just that. I know its spearhead but i was hoping for plastic aspect warriors or wraithguard. I think GW should stop making space marine chapters and update metal models so they are plastic. maybe there will be more models aswell.

I much prefer the metal mini's. I dread having to clean then wash up the plastic Dire Avengers and assemble them.
The Banshees and Scorpions are so much easier and quicker to clean and prep for painting imho. I also prefer the heavier feel.
Another note: when dropped the metal ones will maybe bend a little, as opposed to the plastics coming apart. Not to mention reducing (albeit by a small margin) our foreign oil usage. Although I guess one would have to also factor in the fuel requirements for the metal mining industry...oh, well. I like metal better!

Wow. I'm used to being abivalent about new models, but those really do look better than the old ones.

Too bad everything sucks except the fire prism. But I can hope for some new rules.

Not really digging the new look of the Fire Prism, though I am always happy to see more plastic and less metal models. I do however like the look of the Night Spinner. Does anyone have any idea of what the Night Spinner can actually do? Need to figure out if I need to pre-order this or not.

The current Forge World rules are similar to the Shadow Weaver support weapon, except it uses the 7'' Blast (which we can almost guarantee we won't see in basic 40K), and has an extra foot or two of range. There's a persistent rumor (though I have no idea how likely) that it will be a S:6 AP: - Rending Large Blast.

Since the Prism Crystal is now transparent, I imagine I'm going to rig one up to light up with a couple of LEDs...I'll throw a dimmer on there so I can "charge" it up.
