    Can you have this on a master shaper.

    That 6+ cover save out in the open thing.
    Favord child 4+ invon.
    melta gun.
    evinsorator.
    wings.
    vetnoration charm on the evinsorator.Sorry for the spelling.

    Can you do this.

    First, a little patience when you're waiting for someone to answer overnight, especially with a Kroot merc specific question.
    Second, everything you can have except both the meltagun and eviscerator, the eviscerator is a two=handed weapon.
    However, why oh why do you need both a six plus cover save and a 4 plus invulnerable save, thats a waste.

    Well i want the 6+ coversave out in the open thing and the invon.And cant master shapers hold two two handed weapons :huh: .

    Personally I would go for either the enhanced toughness or initiative. Anyway, you can take one 2-handed weapon and a single-handed one or 2 single-handed weapons.

    Should i have a plasma pistol instead of the melta.

    Ok, you can not take both an eviscerator and a melta-gun, both are two handed weapons, sorry I got confusing on that one earlier.

    Now, unfortunately Kroot mercenaries do not have access to a plasma pistol, just the regular plasma gun, so that nixes that.

    Back to the save thing, with Mark of the Favored Child you will get a 4+ save out in the open when you get hit by a bolter or a lascannon, you don't need the extra 6+ cover save. The only real time I can see you needing both of those saves is when you go up against Daemonhunters who have some shooty weapons that can ignore invulnerable saves. (Also, just in case you were confused, you do not count as being in cover with this option, so when charged, you will not automatically go first). For my money, fast reflexes is the option because remember, your entire army has to use the same adaptation, so think of whats most beneficial to your entire army (for me its going on par with space marines).

    If I may suggest my personal shaper:
    Melta-gun, power weapon, Wings, Fast Reflexes, Mark of Favored Child, Kroothawk Totem-
    This guy gives you a 75% chance of going first (even though I still fail that on average), can infiltrate and fly into range of any tank with a good chance of popping it (you can master-craft the weapon to get better, but I had to trim points somewhere). In close combat, he has 5 initiative and 3 power weapon attacks, 4 on the charge, plus a 4+ invo save.

    P.S. - By the way, whats the rest of your army like, not often you run up against kroot mercenaries, run a search here and the army list section and you'll come across my Mercenary Band, its goal is to go first or die (and its usually die).

    Where can One find the rules for a Master Shaper?

    Is that the same thing as the Angkor Prok guy?

    The rules on the master shaper can be found in the CA 2004 in the Kroot Mercenary section. He is the leader of a Chapter Approved Kroot mercenary army.
    Anghkor Prok is not a Master Shaper (although fluffwise he would be) and can only be used in the Tau army (if only you could use him with Kroot Mercs that would be brutal).

    ok this is what my shaper will be like.
    6+ cover
    4+ invon
    wings
    plasma gun
    invinsorator with vetnoation Charm counts as master crafted.

    P.S this shaper is built for jungle fighting.
