This is all over the boards. Deceiver hands down for most (including me).
Why: Higher initiative, cannot be bogged into a CC forever, can MOVE during the opponents phase and get up to 24" of movement from 2d6 fallback+6" move+6" assault (pure win!), can pin even fearless units, 60 points less means I can get another destroyer easily, redeploy can mess up your opponents day moving those destroyers to the other side and hitting side armor now, etc, etc....
Why people think Nightbringer over Deceicer: Lascannon shot (big deal and only 24"), 1 addtl attack, template for HORDE armies only, S10. Honestly, the pure diversity the Deceiver will bring you far outweigh those 3 things and the 60 point increased cost. You'll find he just gets bogged into combat for like 3-4 turns. My Deceiver easily takes out multiple squads escaping combat, etc.

I use Nighty, but purely for the looks (don't like the Deceiver model) and fluff (Deceiver doesn't seem like the type to bother personally showing up on battle field).
As for the rules Deceiver is much better with lower cost.

Deceiver. Dark Trainer already made all of the valid points, I was just wanting to really confirm this.
