    can you have a guard on a tyrant with wings? im not sure because it doesnt say, and if i think about it, a guard cant keep up to a flying tyrant lol. so can you? and for my guants..i already have spine guants but for my leaping gaunts should i have the toxin sacs or adrenal glands +1 in? they are 1 point apart except they both make good uses im just not sure which one is better. the +1 S means 50% wound and +1 In means you dont go simo and have a chance of killing them before you.

    Well you can givet he winged tyrant guards but it will make the tyrant really slow. I would get both but if I had to choose only one I would must likly get the sacs cause wounding is way important.

    u can give the tyrant guard, but he will have to move at the speed of the slowest model in the squad, ie the guard. so move ans assult 6. most people take the guard on the tyrant, ahve th tyrant leave the guard, and have like OOE or another carnifex join up with them and use them.

    Yea.... guard would slow down a tyrant with wings a little too much for my taste.... so, just save the points and don&#39;t field them.. unless your fielding OOE or a Carnie like Salamander said... I myself would just have him join a group of 9 winged, ST x 2, IA, Adrenal (I + WS), TS, EC, warriors.... may be more points, but the opponent has a choice.... either shoot the tyrant and kill him... or shoot the warriors... either way, the majority of the warriors willl survive... and the Tyrant may have just enough wounds to show them who&#39;s boss... that&#39;s what i think.... guard aren&#39;t really for me....

    Yeah, as has been said, the tyrant can leave the guards. Some people will keep a winged tyrant with guards until he&#39;s within eighteen inches of the enemy and then have him hop out and charge.
    For the gaunt upgrades, I&#39;d go with the initiative upgrade if I were dead set on one of the two. The unfortunate thing is that its value depends entirely on the opposing army. Toxin sacs are okay if you want to do the most wounds possible (for a leaper) in each assault phase, but you will have fewer models to start off with. Of the two, I&#39;d go with initiative, simply because it&#39;s cheaper.

    Take guard and leave them for your fex as for the guants is gonna depend on who your fighting isn&#39;t it , gaunts I is higher than most. +1 ST is better against SM as you stand a better chance of wounding been it at the same time, they get there 3+ save what ever so the more dice they roll the better "a dead marine is a good marine"
