Welcome to Librarium Online!
No this shouldn't be in the Army list section, I'm not asking for a list. I'm just wondering in general what people like to do for an apocalypse army with your Eldar? I know other armies have well known units such as the Baneblade and such. I was hoping this thread would just kind of be a discussion about Eldar in an apocalypse battle overall.
the Eldar do have APOC units, the Scorpion Super-heavy and the Cobra super heavy. GW don't supply them (i think) so you would have to fork out ForgeWorld prices instead.
I found a webway portal on GW as an APOC model, how does that work?
You have Revenant titan, Cobra and scorpion as heavy tanks, vampire, nightwing and another flyer, some nice datasheets (shadow walker, sunstorm, cloudstrike squadron are the ones that comes fast in mind), you have our regular Eldar tricks.
My Apoc army is a mobile force backed up by a revenant titan (just because the model is awesome and now i am painting my own one instead of proxy it.
Is there a GW official book with those units in it, is it the Apocalypse book? I've never heard of most of those units, probably because I don't own the book, and that's awesome about your revenant titan, he looks crazy.
Overall, how do Eldar fair in APOC? I can't imagine an Eldar APOC army, that would be so awesome.
Revenant Titan (super-heavy walker)
Aspect Assault wave (bitchin' wave serpent formation)
The Sunstorm (Fire Prism formation, it's also available in PDF form on GW's website now)
There's a number of fluffy/cool formations in Reload, like the Phoenix Court of Khaine, but the Sunstorm is the only one that's really practical.
Imperial Armour - Apocalypse:
Scorpion (super-heavy tank)
Cobra (super-heavy tank)
Void Dragon Phoenix (even better flyer)
Vampire Hunter (super-heavy flyer)
Vampire Raider (super-heavy flyer transport)
Shadow Walker War Walker Host (the best reason in a list of good reasons to buy War Walkers--omfg)
Seer Council of Ulthwé (pretty snazzy seer council formation)
Where on the site would I find the PDF's? I'de like to see the stats on these.
I also had a lot of trouble in general finding the stuff on the GW site, it's search wasn't very helpful. I am still trying to figure out the Court off the Young King Unit as well. The stuff I did find though looks sick.

Imperial Armour Apocalipse 2
Cobra II (new variant of the super heavy) + 2 formations (not very useful, the flyer formation seems nice)
Imperial Armour update 2006
Firestorm (AA tank)
Also armourcast made a model of an Phantom/Warlock Phantom Titan. (see picture as example here CoolMiniOrNot - Phantom Titan Altanasar Craftworld by krommeldar). There are no GW rules but there are a couple of decent fan made ones like : http://www.tralfazsolutions.com/Mega...antomTitan.pdf
or Phantom and Warlock Titans Armorcast Model Phantom titans are the
Apoc is for fielding awesome armies on big fields and have fun removing in laughts 25% of each army /turn due to immense firepower.
I refuse to recognize the IA:A2 one, because they actually rewrite the Titan Holofield rules-- which are already spelled out in the Apocalypse rulebook-- for no apparent reason, and nerf it fairly significantly.IA Update 2006 is superceded by IA:A; the most current rules for the Firestorm are in there. And while I love the look of it, and like the idea, I'm not convinced its a really competitive tank, at least in a typical Apoc game. If your group is using lots of flyers though, I can see it's utility going up a lot.Imperial Armour update 2006
