at the moment i have 10 DA's (exarch 2 catapults, BladeStorm), Farseer with 3 bodyguard. any help on what to get next? rangers/ harlies? any help please
With that little bit to start with you could really go in any direction. I started with Guardians, Farseer, Scorpions, Reapers, and Rangers. Wave Serpents are a must as well, but it all really depends on what type of army you want to play. You might just want to look through the army list threads and go from there. Or if you're like me, just buy the models you think look cool, play a game or two, and see what works and what doesn't.
i think you'de find it most useful to have a wave seprent. it's very versatile and essential to the Eldar.
no recomendation as to my next purchase? which are better harlies / banshees?
Buy another box of DA's to have 20 (after all, need two troops choices), after that get a waveserpent. From here you can go in pretty much any direction you want.
Want an army of big killy things? 3 Wraithlords and an avatar (though arguably 2 WL, a nightspinner and avatar) for all your OHSHI~ needs. Use disposable troops to shield your big guys from poisoned weapon nids and powerfists.
More tanks? Try 2 falcons, a fireprism and as many waveserpents as you can fit.
But seriously, concentrate of having a powerful core. Eldar are like a tree, the roots feed the trunk which feeds the leaves. The leaves breathe, the breath gives air to the trunk, gives air to the roots. The roots of your army are the troops choices, weak roots will mean the rest of your tree is weak and malnourished. A strong trunk is your 'mobility factor' and the overall direction you're taking your force. The leaves of your army are what you get in response to your most common opponents. Probably marines.
Will need more info, you could end up wasting a LOT of money on bad units like swooping hawks, for instance.
My compiled thoughts blog.
If someone posts something helpful +rep them
Couple of questions..
What was your 'first army'?
What style do you play with them? CC? Gun Line? Balanced? etc
(I'm guessing you'd want to play a different style with your eldar)
Do you play competitively / for fluff and fun / a mix of both?
First army was Own Chapter of Marines - Golden Swords - used them aggressivley against Orks then tried to blow everyone else away. didn't work. 1st army is at 1925pts. for eldar am aiming for a pincer-type aproach. i mean DA's + Farseer on one side, Rangers and other DS units to squash any opponent. aiming for 9 Vypers, 2 Fire Prisms, 1 Falcon and Striking Scorpions + either harlies / banshees

So it looks like your real question is harlies or banshees then. Banshees are basically a one trick pony, you charge them at an enemy, they kill the enemy. Harlies are a bit more versatile, although I think most still use them as an assault unit. I've never used Harlequins but there is a pretty recent thread discussing them that you may want to check out.
Hight elf and Craftworld Eldar army project pics heavy: linky
Go buy 6+ Wave serpents, 2 prisms, 1 night spinner, 3 squads of 5 fire dragons, lots of dire avengers. Seriously.
Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points
Grey knights - 1000 Points
