i was wondering how usefull these units were when used in a 1500 pt army and if they are even worth the trouble to swap out a few models for them
okay cause i was reading in the codex and it said the weirdboyz can teleport your boyz around and i thought that would be really usefull but knowing orks i didnt know if it was based on luck or based on how big your mob is because if you could teleport your boyz around without losing 5 or 10 that would be a little overpowered.
wow that would help haha. what exactly is a weirdboy worth in points or models? does he count as an hq?
I love my weirdboy. He's completely random and you cant count on him to do anything but thats the fun of it. I much prefer him to the KFF Mek even though competitively speaking the Mek is much better.
2000pts Orks 4-2-1
ya the mek almost sounds essential to most lists however the weirdboy looks like loads of fun if ur just playin to have a good time. i mean a truck full of boys all of a sudden showing up int the middle of a bunch of space marines would be so awsome not to mention hilarious when the space marine player has teh loook of utter suprise on his face haha
I like weirdboyz, but I always buy them the warp 'ead upgrade. Painboyz are nice in larger point games, but you can only use them in groups of nobz. I wouldn't use the Mad Doc (the HQ painboy) in anything less than a 2000 point game, as he's expensive.
