Welcome to Librarium Online!
I haven't used him yet since 4th Ed but i just wanted to know is Kaptin Badrukk good to take... now i have read other forums about him but the reason why i never used him before was because of his "Gets Hot" rule & it was worse in 4th Ed rules with twin linked "Gets Hot" but now with 5th Ed it seems to be a better now. So is he good or not thanx.
Sorry if this question has already been asked & i would have searched for it but the computer i am using won't let me !!
I use him in my army. I would probably not use him if I were to play with anyone other than my friends just because Flash Gitz eat up points, but I find him fun to play with for sure. I never really have any trouble with the Gets Hot! rule, especially since he has the 3+ saving roll.
So any in other words grax what is that he would be good in a battle that is maybe hmmmm... 3000pts lol, i'm having a huge 3000pt 5 way battle this weekend & want to get as much info as i can about certain units.
Plus he comes with Powder (ammo)Grots to make up for the first few low rolls.
I am verbose. Sorry.
Kargh's Wite Butz, Death Skullz Orks: W: 5, L:, 2 D:2; Silver-skull Necrons: 1W 1L,500 pt
The best way to take him is with a minimum sized unit of flash gitz with the 2-shot upgrade, 3 ammo runts, and a looted wagon, battlewagon, or borrowed trukk. It's his ability to fire a ton of 'virutal' plasma shots with re-rolls to hit that makes his unit worth taking.
Is it necessary for him to be in a transport? Or could he make do without?
The reason for the vehicle is that's it's a 24" range assault weapon, so he can drive and shoot. Get up in range, fire, move. He's just a so flexible in a vehicle - red paint give him 37" range with a pretty powerful gun!
Hosea 1:11 - Great will be the day of Jezreel.
Ah, makes sense. Thanks
your also forgetting that all flashgitz are now nobz so getting into CC isnt such a bad thing, though they dont get their cheese wound allocation because they are all equipted with the same gear.
