The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. Bring them understanding of the power of ourselves through our strength and their fear. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all fragments will be smashed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be consumed

If you think your opponent will play a list full of larger daemons then i'd go with the wytch cult. They have a large number of agonisors and blasters to deal with them.

If you think your opponent will have a force centred around smaller daemons try the kabal, as they have better anti horde shooting and will be able to do drivebies firing out while the smaller daemons struggle to catch up and touch your armour.

If you think your opponent will go with lots of Slanesh units use a kabal as their units have no shooting and you can keep the range on them while they run around trying to hit you.

If you think your opponent will use a Khorne centred army use kabal as they can try to stay out of combat and shoot them down.

If you think you will face Nurgle use Wytches as you will often need he extra damage you can inflict in combat to deal with their tough units, and many agonisors and blasters to get through FNP.

If you think your opponent will use Tzentch use a wytch cult as their units will be much batter at shoting than assault.

The daemons player that i usually play against uses mainly Khorne daemons but also has a mix of Nurgle & Tzeentch Daemons as well, & he's only just starting to use Slaanesh Daemons (he doesn't like them much). So what would i use against a mixed Daemons list? thanx

Like I said at the start, if you think your opponent will use more monsterous creatures use the wytches, two blasters and an agonisor in every squad is brutal for them. If you expect to face a hordier list a Kabal army will have lots of shots with splinter weapons and can do drivebys in raiders to kill lots of daemons safely.

If you think you will fcae a balanced daemon army, (most are) go with a more mixed list with a kabal base, the previous was just a guideling as to what is a good core to your force.

Deamons have a huge weakness, which is that after they have deployed, they have no transports to move them around quickly and safely. They also have very limited anti-tank ranged weapons. Your goal should be to knock out the few of those units he has first with DLs or massed shots (Tzeentch heralds, Soulgrinders with tongue attack), then focus on any fast units like Fiends or Screamers (I think that's their name, the manta-like things). Ignore slow and tough units like GUOs and Juggernauts if you can. They won't be a threat if they can't get to you, although you may occasionally have to knock one off of an objective. Fast moving vehicles are extremely hard to assault, if they even catch up to one at all. So field as many Raiders & Ravagers as possible and keep everybody on them. This means a Kabal is better, since they are cheaper and can shoot from farther away.

When it's about securing objectives, just focus on the easiest one(s) it will take to win and stay within 27" of them near the end of the game so that you can flat out to either one for the capture/contest, as needed.

Also of note is the Changling. He is a unique threat. Moreso than the one anti-tank shot that comes out of a Horrors squad. Last thing you want is that Ravager to turn it's guns on one your own units. Luckily, Horrors are very weak targets which can be taken down by splinter shots, and those shots won't have much to shoot at if the changling uses his power while all your troops are embarked.

PS: Oh yeah, and don't play them on a 4'x4' board. You need some room to zoom around on.
