If I decide o with a mek themed army I want to use a color that is not overused and is different so just tell me what you think. Possible colors so far are purple grey whit and whatever else u guys say.
Srry title got spellchecked and changed meks to meld
I'm thinking purple Orks would definitely be unique. So would white for that matter. Gray would also work, pink isn't used much... Basically, if the color exists, I'm sure someone has tried it. There might be more rare colors, but Orks look good with certain colors, and rather odd with others. Try your hand in any number of colors and see what you think looks best. I tried Snot Green armor for my Kommandos with some highlights and think it turned out pretty nice. Have at it.
Orange. Reminds me of rust, looks good next to green, not to common on the standard ork tribes.
Well, gold and silver isn't really a "color", but shining or even glowing orkses would be freaky! Hah! "pimp my ride"-style battlewagons with neon light all over the place. WAAAA!!
You could also stick to a "greenish" color such as light grey washed with green, very dark green, or bluish green. This would be unique and would still be green (as all orks should be).
Additionally, warpaint is a fun way to mix up your models and make them stand out. Paint them a standard green and then add warpaint designs on arms, faces, weapons, etc.
