Welcome to Librarium Online!
How do you guys use your warbosses? I don't know whether he should be on a bike, on foot or in a BW and I don't know whether he should be with a group of boyz or nobz. What would you recommend?
Many like to use him on bike so he can zoom around and krump. I think he adds a lot of punch to a warbiker squad with nob. He can zoom off from the squad to smash up a vehicle if need be. Battlewagons are good, and he can really beef up a unit of 20 mounted boyz with nob. I run mine with a 30-strong boy squad as I use a horde. He makes the mob very scary and they're great at swarming an objective. I suppose you could use him with a Nob squad, but it seems like overkill to me because the nobz can already incorporate many high-strength powerklaw attacks so his usefulness is somewhat less important. If you've got a big army and are playing Apoc., Green Tides are sweet as hell and very fluffy... not to mention almost unstoppable!
500-1500, he rides in a Trukk with 'ard Boyz, zipping up to the enemy.
2000-2500, he rides in a Trukk with Nobz, zipping up to the enemy.
3000+, he runs up to the enemy with 100 or more boyz and nobs that have 5+ cover and Feel No Pain ( Thank you, Imperial Armor 8 )

Since I`ve got an army based on AoBR set I don`t have a choice. But I think a Warboss on bike with a bunch (soory, mob) of Nobz is more effective. 12" move, does not rely on transport, so You won`t end up with a boss on the middle of nowhere when the trukk blown up.
If I had nob bikerz, I would put him with them.
Put a warboss on a bike, with attack squig, power klaw, cybork body and bosspole.
Run him with 5 nob bikers:
Nob, Power Klaw, Cybork
Nob, Power Klaw, Waaagh Banner, Cybork
Nob, Big Choppa, Bosspole, Cybork
Nob, Big Choppa, Cybork
Nob, Painboy, Cybork
Add Kombi Skortchas if you got the points.
Unti comes in aroun 500-550 points depending on your upgrade choices.
The warboss adds some serious punch, and is an absolute necessity with nob bikers, for one reason and one reason alone: Leadership.
Nob Bikers without a warboss will break and flee in the face of any opponnent who knows what he's doing.
Witha warboss, they are at leadership 8 or 9 (9 I think) and they are able to take those nasty instant gibbing S8 or S9 shots on the warboss to avoid ID - Just be sure not to mistakenly take a railgun hit on your warboss or you'll be sorry.
In my opinion the BikerBoss is the best, T6, 4+ Armor, 5+ Inv and FNP when he's in the Nob squad. 5 base PK attacks at S10 with the Squig, and massive movement to boost. He's freakin awesome.
I've heard of other people having good luck with a Mega Armor boss leading a BW full or boyz, but whenever I think of taking a Mega-Boss, I always end up making room for Ghazzy instead...
My two cents.

In a nob bike unit what kind of targets do you send him after? I've always been terrified of using ICs because they can be singled out in CC.
The warboss is made for smashing skulls and bashing heads. If you're not using him in assaults, you're missing out on one of the biggest power houses of the ork army. My warboss has single handedly won me two games. In one game, he took out a necron lord, and 4 warriors in 1 turn. In another, he took down a hive tyrant! Dude is a total beast. And your opponent is terrified of him after they see what he can do.
I thought there was a discussion some where on here that the Squiq Attack doesn't get the bonus for the PK. But I can't find it now and its not in the Errata/FAQ...so don't know what's with that.
As for Your boss. bike is the best then mega armor then normal.
Repainting Orks not sure how many points yet
