i've been thinking about this a lot lately, because he has a lot of potential, and i would like to see many changes such as:
. crisis suits count as scoring (maybe asking to much)
. not nerfing your list completely, i was always confused as to why he couldnt get any kroot on his side, pay them off its not hard
. reroll hits in combat
. give everyone +1 WS
something along these lines, what about you?

Increase batllesuit max unit size; +1 or +2 to max unit size would be awsome

Make him a 'chapter' of the Tau with his own army list. Something which doesn't follow standard Tau doctrine, like heavy weapons in Firewarrior squads, and other things.
Would love to see Farsight make Crisis Suits Troops choices so you could legitimately pull an all suit list, of course that would mean a points boost to like 235 pts (like Space Marine Captain on a bike) but i would be fine with that, an I would like that he not nerf your entire army list by controlling of how much other stuff you can take. I can see Vespid (who uses them anyway?) and Kroot, but why other Tau?

How about Farsight trained fire warriors, as it says in his entry that the farsight cadres train in HtH to the almost exclusion of all else.
Current Armies: Tau, Dark Angels, Wood Elves, Bretonnians
Side Projects: Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar, High Elves, The Empire
Nah, that would totally take away our advantage in the shooting phase! I'd much rather him not have limits on what you can take, at least of other tau units. If we could get him to make XV8's scoring troops, I think O'Shovah would become the HQ in alot of Tau lists. That would rock!

I personally love Farsight, the rules and fluff of the character don't coincide very well at all.
Supposedlly, him and his troops are out castes to the rest of the empire, so to me it would make sense that they have limited resources (Thus the 0-1 units).
BUT, It does say that they are more close combat oriented and get special training for it. You would have to be if you were to survive such odds against the orks. Given, they do have favored enemy orks, but if they TRAINED in close combat, then it should bring up their weapon skill, maby even drop their Ballistic skill (not that it isn't bad enough). This could be a stat representation of their sort of training focus.
Also I think it would be sweet if their bonding knves also doubled as a minny Dawn blade of sorts. They're Tau, I think the earth cast could at least make a rough duplicate it.
Based on how other codexs are, my bet is that he'll make Crisis Suits troops.
Army's used: Space Wolves, Tomb Kings, High Elves, Tyranids, Tau and Eldar.
Units with the ability to make a controlled break and reform from combat would make more sense - i.e. if you pass your moral test from losing combat you can choose break (as if you'd failed) but with no chance of being run down.
Drop back and shoot, don't get into a punch up with 500lbs of muscle and drool.
