A few questions about the new Dark Eldar codex...
1) Are Harlequins included, like I feel that they may be?
2) If so, are they exactly identical to the Harlequins in Codex: Eldar, or are they altered in any way?
3) Fluffwise - is the Venom still considered a Harlequin transport (ignoring rules here), or did they do away with the old fluff and implement it as a new Dark Eldar toy?
Cheers for any answers!
Harlequins are in with exactly same option as the current eldar codex. The venom is not a transport option for them (no dedicated transports actually).

Regarding the Venom, I was talking more from a fluff point of view - as Codex: Eldar's Harlequins have no transport option, I assumed the same would be the case for Dark Eldar's version, but I'm curious what the Venom exactly is, fluffwise. Is it a Dark Eldar toy, or something the Harlequins brought to the table?
You can always deploy the Venom or other transport empty (Wave Serpent) then embark the Harlequins on the first turn.
At the beginning of turn 1, I spray my opponent's army with the bacon flavored spray. Then I unleash my Boston Terrier Squiggoth who then devours their entire bacon flavored army! There is no defense against her cuteness! All are doomed!
Fluffwise I've always heard of it as a Harlequin transport. Odd that they can't use it, eh?
The venom's fluff makes no reference to harlequins at all, it is made out to be a rather cool and somewhat unique DE vehicle, for some reason the fluff gives me a roman vibe but I can't say why.
Well my predictions are that, as they have the same rules and point costs as in my eldar codex, they will also be booted from competitive DE play faster than a turbo boosting wave serpent. Or maybe The Venom in this case.
Yes as in the book.
And get dem Dragons out of dem Falcons! Downright embarisin sometimes.
