here's my list:
Hive Tyrant w/TL Devourers, AG, Hive Commander, LE, PS
1x Tyrant Guard
2x Hive Guards
2x Hive Guards
2x Zoanthropes w/ Mycetic Spore
1x Trygon Prime
ok so basically, i'll be playing against blood angels soon and i know he likes terminators and the death company. what tactics can i use against him? he'll probably have quite a few tanks aswell as jump packs on his troops.
Death company are easy enough to deal with, just slam something that ignore armour saves into them and job done pretty much. Theyre also very easy to bait away from the important targets due to rage.
Terminators are going to be harder. I suspect he'll run hammer and sheid varients with a sanguinary preiest, which could cause you problems as you cant swarm them owing to feel no pain, and heavy units will bounce of the invulnerable save. Id say use the stealers, or just sawmp them with as many attacks as you can at once, they'll cut though anything you have on their own.
Your friendly neighbourhood gargantuan creature
Your list is only about 1200pts. At 1200, if he takes terminators and death company, he won't be able to take much else as those units take up a lot of points. Sheer number of attacks will overwhelm any unit, even FNP terminators. Poisoned genestealers with prefered enemy from the Tyrant are perfect in killing them, especially with the hormagants help.
I would swap Hive Commander for Old Adversary, drop the spore and downgrade Trygon Prime to just a regular trygon. Then I would use those points to either bulk up on the number of genestealers or hormagants.
Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
Ok, so basically, as long as I attack as much as possible by outflanking him? Then I should beat him?
