Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey. I know that this has probably been asked a hundred times before, but if you buy 10 Guardians, with an EML weapons platform, do you get 8 Guardians and a platform with an EML, or 10 guardians plus an EML platform.
Current Armies: Tau, Dark Angels, Wood Elves, Bretonnians
Side Projects: Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar, High Elves, The Empire
you get 10 guardians.
two of those ten are the guncrew.
one of the gun crew have to be in base contact with the weapon platform the other one can be anywhere in the unit.
only one of the crewmen are needed to fire the weapon so the other one can fire his own weapon.
when you fire the weapon plateform you can use the line of sight from any of the two crewmen.
Edit: but you pay the points for ten guardians.
In general, a human factor is a physical or cognitive property of an individual or social behavior which is specific to humans and influences functioning of technological systems as well as human-environment equilibriums.
Grandfather Nurgle is right, except that one crewman only has to be in normal coherency with the gun (codex p39), not actually touching it.
And just for reference, the GW FAQ states that either gun crew may fire the weapon, not just the one in coherency with it.
This is often used to spread the 2 crewman out to ensure either one can draw line of sight to choice targets.
At the beginning of turn 1, I spray my opponent's army with the bacon flavored spray. Then I unleash my Boston Terrier Squiggoth who then devours their entire bacon flavored army! There is no defense against her cuteness! All are doomed!
