I've recently realised that I have over 3500 points of Orks but no apocolypse datasheets. I've decided that I want a stompa (the most orky of all) and will be getting one soon(either for christmas or with the money after) but I do nit know which ne to get.
The options are the normal stompa which has lots of small guns, a super gatler and a titan close combat weapon.
The big mek stompa, which has even more small guns, a lifta dropper, a gigashoota and a gaze of mork
the one with what is essentially a big deff rolla but I've forgotten what its called., which has a couple of small guns and (most importantly) a bigger and better deff rolla.
Which one would you get/recommend?
No question, I'd definitely go with the Big Mek Stompa. If for no other reason, the Lifto-Grabbo arm makes it really worth it.
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
So I dont want to hijack or anything but I have a question thats kinda related. Does anyone know what the weapon options are with the GW Stompa? Is it a competative build or would I have to get involved with the Forgeworld stuff?
Big mek stompa.A good all rounder.
I run a Kustom Stompa that has been a real winner in most games. Tough as nails, easily built out of the GW stompa kit and generally killy. I gave it a Gaze of Gork, Grot Repair Krew and have a mek with kustom force field and burna riding inside, as well as a unit of burna boys (2 burnaz, 3 meks with big shootas). That gives me 4 guys with repair rolls to keep the weapons firing, a repair krew to try to fix structure points, 3 big shootas to fire out the 3 firing ports and 3 flamers to fire out at those poor chainfist-thunderhammer termies. ^_^
