Could this be the new Wrack model?
Path of the Exodite: Possible Wrack?
I remember when that picture first came out - wasn't sure what to make of it but I will admit it does fit the bill.
"On a hunch, I melted them down and inhaled the fumes and read the dark eldar codex again, AND FOUND A BUNCH OF NEW RULES HIDDEN BEHIND THE OTHER WORDS..." [Gardeth on modelling & interpreting the DE Codex]
Dont think so...
Its not the same quality as the other new models and is missing the huge, hunched, ripping-out-of-their-back spine shown in all wrack artwork. I think this spine is going to be a 'tying in' element in all haemi units, sort of like how all wych have one of their sides armoured or how all splinter weapons have a similar appearance.
Still it looks cool and would make a good proxy. Nice find mate.
I hope for at least one female option in the Wrack models. I'm aiming for an entirely female DE army if possible (huge contrast from the all-male armies you usually see) and don't want to mess up the very well done new kits with my clumsy green stuff!
It appears similar to the artwork in the book, but its too thin/clean for me.
Its one "go-go boot" makes the model appear female, in my opinion.
I guess it could be an early version of the Wrack. But there are a couple of things that differs from the fluff. Mainly, there's no mask. The fluff is very specific about the masks, they all have one as individuality is nothing that they care about. Also, it seems to be missing some important laboratory stuff on its back, like on the picture. But from a fluff point of view, it should not be completely necessary. I could see this as being an early test model for the wrack, but I don't think it's very likely to be the current model, if there even is one at the moment. Good find though! I hope GW releases both the wracks and grots soon, they will be core in many lists.
"I have seen you humans, trying to forge an Empire in the name of a corpse"
I think it's some hybrid between a Sister Repentia and an Archoflagellant. It's robotic enough to be mechanicus but have the boots and mutilation to be some kind of Imperial devout.
I don't think it's a Wrack because the Haemonculii are masters of the flesh, and this looks too mechanical.
Look at the sickle. It got an power weapon node only found on man made power weapons. Alien made power weapons doesnt have the nodes.
