I just started an Eldar force of my own after much self debate and I have a few questions about some rules and some eldar units I was thinking of fielding in my mechdar force.
How effective are warp spiders when implemented in a game?
They look really good on paper except for that AP - of the deathspinners, with fare BS and armor, but I've heard bad things about them when using them in game. Also, what squad size would be best for a warp spider squad? Would attaching an Autarch for a fusion gun and some extra CC attacks be wise with and exarch w/powerblades+Hit and Run?
How well do jetcouncils play?
I know they will nom A LOT of your points (thus should be used in large point games), but the idea of a bike squad that basically re rolls everything+heavy flamers too fun to pass up. Also, are there any good online guides for converting a squad of them?
Lastly I have a question about skimmers in 5th ed. (couldn't find it in the rulebook)
Can you still draw line of sight through your own skimmers (because they can move up and down) but hinder your opponents LoS?
Thanks for reading and if anyone has any additional advice (exploits or things to keep in mind) I would appreciate that.
Have a good day!
EDIT: Where do I find the entry for the prism tank with the deathspinner lookin' turret thing instead of the prism cannon?

Your last question is easy. The offical stats were released in a White Dwarf issue, the number escapes me but just google it. I have a jet council with 5 warlocks and one farseer and also being fairly new to this army i was intimidated at trying to convert one. It all depends on what level of awesomeness you want your jetcouncil to be. Go all out and buy 5/6 warlocks and a farseer, cut off thier torsos and put them on normal jetbikes with the standard legs and build up with green stuff from there. There are numerous tutorials online whether on youtube or websites that you can view. I chose the cheaper, more efficient, yet less awesome way, and just bought a box of shining spears, used thier torsos and heads (along with their 3 jetbikes, cheapest way to get jetbikes) and used some random power weapons and dire swords from my dire avengers as witchblades. I used the Shining Spears exarch head as my farseer head, and the rest were just normal jetbike guardians with power weapons and Direswords. you can also use an extra flag from the dire avengers box as a way to add some detail or to single out your farseer. I know this method doesn't look as good as other ways but its cheap, simple, effective, and after painting, adding transfers, and fielding them as a seer council on bikes, your opponent will respect them all the same. As to your skimmer and Warp Spider questions i have no answer as i don't know the rules exactly for skimmers, and i haven't gotten a chance to use warp spiders.
My Dice keep me in check
In regards to skimmers, you cant shoot through them, you treat them as an obstical just like your opponent would as per the line of sight.
As for warp spiders some people like them and some people dont. They are far from my favourite unit and cost too many points for what they do, the lack of Ap just ruins it. Even if they had an AP of 6 they would be so much better when tackling vehicles.
There are many ways to convert a seers council, some more expensive while others taking a bit more effort. Look around and find what appeals. There are a few threads in the forums that will no doubt help. What I did personally was I bought some bases for heavy support weapons off ebay and stuck my Farseer and warlocks on top of them, this give it the appearance of hover platforms rather than bikes but I think it looks pretty good, and they really stand out if you go with a jetbike themed list.
You can also buy Farseer and Warlock conversion bits from chapterhousestudios.com They look pretty cool, but if you decide to go that route, do it now. GW has a lawsuit open against chapterhouse studios.
At the beginning of turn 1, I spray my opponent's army with the bacon flavored spray. Then I unleash my Boston Terrier Squiggoth who then devours their entire bacon flavored army! There is no defense against her cuteness! All are doomed!
