im just wondering what clan best suits a big mek with a SAG
Bad Moons due to the fact they have the Teeth to buy the parts to make's them (fluff wise)
I agree with draghkar. Although, in my mind ANY ork army has to have one (if only for the comedy value as the SAG must be the most orky thing in orkdom).
Agree with Bad Moons. Deff Skullz maybe because they'd have a lot of looted parts. Speed Freeks is a no-go due to the fact that the SAG isn't mobile and that the meks would be focused on vehicles. Goffs don't like fancy stuff. Blood Axes are too sneaky for it.
Although a Speed freek mek boy junka with SAG turrets would be amusing
Everyone needs meks. Red Sunz need their vehicles to get their buzz. Bad Moons need 'em to work on their snazzguns and other "kustomizations". Goffs need 'em because they've got a bloody large lot of orks to move. They're a primary market for Deff Skulls. And even a Snakebite or a Blood Axe can appreciate a fine battlewagon, with dakka hanging over every side.
But they don't call a mek an "oddboy" for nothing. They're something of a law unto themselves - they'll add some gubbinz or yank a part off something else just because it meets their own private, crazy aesthetics (or "it just workz better dat way!") Big meks are that squared - too valuable to waste casually, too hard to understand to keep a close eye on, too big to take orders from a nob. So at the end of the day, if your mek decides he wants to build a shokk attack gun, there's not really a good way of STOPPING him.
Besides, think about it. We're talking about a gun that tellyports angry, fear-crazed snotlings directly inside some beakie's armor. Dat's comedy! Orks would pay teef just to watch. And if the mek gets yoinked into melee with a carnifex, or accidentally hoses down a freshly-painted trukk with snotling bits, that's even funnier. Having a shokk attack gun around means you'll never be bored...
