Welcome to Librarium Online!
So finally my eldar rocked up in my mail from a lovely Ebay seller.
But before I begin I want to thank the following:
I know on the Nid pages getting someone to start out that army is very rewarding, so thanks you guys helped me start out Eldar. Rep for all of you.
1 Wave Serpent
5 Dire Avengers
2 Heavy weapon platforms
1 jet bike
He also threw in 50 rare earth magnets.
Pictures will be below. But till then some questions...
1. What do you think is worth magnetizing? Vyper, wave serpent? I have 50 and also need to magnetize my Nids. Is it worth doing the heavy weapon set?
2. Three of the guardians have been painted using washes. And I am going to spray paint over them, anyone know if it has any impact?
3. I had to tell someone, im very happy.
The lot came in at........ $60 Australian dollars. The price of one Wave serp

both of them but start with the serpent
Hight elf and Craftworld Eldar army project pics heavy: linky
Yes. The guy glued the EML on top of it. Any suggestions on how to remove it?
Serpent and Vyper.
I'd magnent all the weapons but the star cannons.
For the vyper I'd do whatever you think youll field it with the most, for me its either scatter laser or EML.
As for the current EML, Rip it off. Use your musK-les.
Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points
Grey knights - 1000 Points
magnets are cheap. You can often find packs of 100 for less than $10USD
I would magnetize all of your WaveSerpent/Vyper heavy weapons (though as niraco said...don't bother with the Star Cannons). Way to go, btw on getting such a great deal!
At the beginning of turn 1, I spray my opponent's army with the bacon flavored spray. Then I unleash my Boston Terrier Squiggoth who then devours their entire bacon flavored army! There is no defense against her cuteness! All are doomed!
I'd magnetize the options for the serpent and vyper. Though I think vypers might actually want to use an EML these days, as those let them outrange heavy bolters, shoot far over intervening infantry(who can usually gun down vypers with their standard issue weapons) and stuff like that, while heavier weapons will probably be aimed at serpents, so if you're short on time or magnets, maybe give that a try.
Don't get rid of your star cannons. GW likes to jerk Eldar around by reversing what's good and bad. Starcannons used to be the heavy weapon of choice, now they suck, so like as not they'll be buffed in the next codex whenever that comes around.

Okay, thanks for the tips guys. Just had to ask before I start ripping apart my new model. Very appreciative. What about painting over washes? These guardians are staring at me saying paint me. Its scary.
If you want to strip them you can use Simple Green or Dettol to do it. Both of them contain chemicals suitable for paint removal although Dettol is a lot rougher on your skin.
