    Well, I don't know how many people are on the Forgeworld mailing list so I figured I put this link up...

    Forgeworld is apparently close to giving the Hivemind another Gigantic, God-Awful Monstrosity... :o

    Anyway here's the link: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/hphant.htm

    They're not great pictures. They only hint at what it's going to look like when it's done, but I figured I'd throw it out there for people to drool over...anybody know around how much they're going to sell these things for? Also, what was the focus for the old hierophants...CC, Shooty, Transport, etc...I know we can't talk stats, but I'd kinda like to know what the old one did to people...Cheers!

    Guess I was late... Bumped my old Hierophant thread up, with the same link included. ^_^;;;

    Anyways, I haven't played old Epic, but AFAIK the Hierophants were the largest Bio-Titans the Tyranids fielded, focus on causing mass destruction upon the enemy both with ranged bioweapons and enough CC ability to rip Titans to pieces.
    "The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all biomatter consumed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be devoured."

    Wonder what it's weapons be, the ranged weapons it has are at the very least the same as the Harridan and the Barbed Hierodule though they might have more range

    Do you think you will need permission to use it?

    I do think so as it is classed as a super-heavy tank, since it uses mass points

    From all I've heard, you'll need your opponents permission to field almost any of the FW models.

    Also, with something that BIG, you'd need a BIG table to accomodate it and a HUGE army for it to be played with. I'm thinking that it would be close to 750 pts or more to field the thing.

    normal FW models can be used without your opponets permission, however anything with either Structure points ( Titans, superheavy tanks ) or wth masspoints ( bio-titans ) do require your opponents permission
