    I got the idea to start a kroot army after assembling my first kroot carnivore. I like there look and there weapon statistics. I just don't know what would be good for the army...

    Could use some help :closedeyes:

    To make that army feasable you need a minimum of 150 models. Could be fun. I am thining about it myself.

    Oh that sucks. I don&#39;t have CA 2003. Could you pollably PM some of the rules to me? Or post them here... (don&#39;t know if that is allowed)

    I may not be allowed to give you rules, but if you want, i can pm you with some kroot strategies, since you seem interested in starting an army, you might as well know what they are good for

    Kroot Mercenaries are going to be a difficult force to play with. Depending on how experienced you are with 40k, you might want to stick with Tau for the time being.
    However, Kroot Mercenaries can be quite fun. They require at least some woods terrain on the field to be really terrifying. Your entire army can infilitrate (save those with attached krootoxes), and some can even fleet of foot. Combined with some special artifacts possessed by Kroot Mercs, you can actually assault first turn (not to mention having a 75% chance of going first). You can tweak your army to your fighting style with signature adaptations. You will only really lack in ordnance weaponrary and tank-killing capability (its very limited). The army is going to require that you really know how to work the terrain on a board to your best advantage because if kroot get caught in the open, they are toast.
    Also, its great for people that like doing conversions.
