"Hard pounding, gentlemen: but we shall see who can pound the longest."
Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington
yep they are pests, good job i am the only player of them at my club currently (well i've got a few models anyway...) some people have said do a shooty list- perhaps that is the best way to go. Do not under any circumstances take on anything with a librarian in there as he will make a mockery of any unit he and his unit get into cc with- in fact i can see wyches being a big liability especially with a libby around.
but personally a balanced army should do ok as you should have enough transports to kill those dreads (or if you are feeling brave jetbikes or a razorwing) as there won't be many of them and massed DL fire kills most things- just don't roll 1's and 2's on the damage table as they will ignore it. Overall just pick your targets carefully- halberds will make a mess of incubi- that made me fall out of my chair...
although GK are incredibly mean in close combat if you target his big guns first and not to many of your tanks die to his opening volleys dark eldar speed should put you with a good chance of victory.

- Disintegrators & Lances
- Lance Spam
- Just Lance Spam them until they are DEAD
- Wyches, again... Those attacks are done in close combat, so you get 4+ invulnerable AND FNP (if you have it)
And I'll add it here: Wyches still strike at the same Initiative as Grey Knights with halberds. And, surprising as it may be... Splinter Cannons also work like a charm against them. GK players have few models, just drown him into saves.
As far as DE are concerned GK are jsut space marines who spend more points for a slight increase in offensive power (S8 autocannons really don't make a huge difference).
They really are nothing special. That said I will give special mention to psychotroke grenades, they are BS (thats not ballistic skill) as they can easily stop cold a dedicated marine killing unit.
You can probably fit more lance weapons then they can fit infantry. Do so. And dissies wherever you can get them.
3 x (5 purifiers, 2 psycannons, 2 halberds, hammer, HB-razorback w/psybolts)

2 x (3 Melta Henchmen, Chimera w/ HF)
3 x (Dread, 2 TL-Autocannon, psybolts)
It was Capture and control, and despite Coteaz siezing, a few mistakes on my part, and some poor rolling, I was winning on turn 5, but conceded once it went to turn 6 because I was already an hour or so late for dinner with the gf. (I wrecked 3 vehicles, one of each kind, the entire game, the rest were all immobilized with no weapons, or stuck behind other immobile vehicles lol. Also his one 5 man SS that was close enough to possibly contest on turn 6 was rapidfired by one of the warrior squads, flamed by both wrack sqauds, and then assaulted. I think either 1 or 0 marines died in total, wracks lost combat by 3ish and both squads fled, 1 was caught, and he consolidated far enough to easily charge my objective holding warriors in his turn had we played it out.)
Fortitude is definitely annoying, but one of his Razors did manage to perils its heavy bolter off.
The meat things seek to destroy ourselves. They hunt us as we hunt them but they are weak and uncertain. Bring them understanding of the power of ourselves through our strength and their fear. The inferior flesh will be entirely destroyed, all fragments will be smashed. Ourselves will fight to the last, all weak flesh must be consumed
Crucible of Malediction. We had a big discussion about this at my store and with the way the rules are written, each grey knight squad counts as a single Psyker. The crucible, if successful, removes any Psyker within 3D6" that fails a leadership test. Because it says "remove any Psyker that fails" not "remove any model that fails" and the whole GK squad counts as a Psyker, we came to the conclusion that if a squad fails then the whole squad is removed.
It's a cheesy loophole, a dirty trick and a blatant example of RAW over RAI but it works wonders, especially for such a cheap piece of wargear.
"I like your style. You make up your own rules, just like me. Bean counters said I couldn't fire a man just for being in a wheelchair. Did it anyway. Ramps are expensive." - Cave Johnson, Portal 2
