HELP! i am thinking of including a winged tyrant in my army, but do not want to buy the forge world model or use dragon, balrog or dark pegasus wings (etc..) from other gw model ranges. I am therefore contemplating modelling small, rather comical wings out of green stuff to simply attach to my tyrant easily, i was wondering if anyone else might have done this, or whether anyone has any further ideas on the wings structure or whether there are any other ways i could do this.
nice gull, What i used and what I've seen alot of other people use is. the GW balrog wins. you can find them off the gw site they work fantastic. there plastic and wonderful
I happened to use a drill press for my hard metal tyrant ( but i cheated b/c my dad is a carpenter OHO!) but there's way's of getting around that

Yeah longdanzi you may not want to use forge world or GW Bitz, but they are the best suited and coolest looking options, i personally just cut the wings off a plastic dragon toy i got at toyworld for $2, used a bit of greenstuff and magnets and bam! instant wings on my tyrant if i want them, i needed thicker wings cause i got a 2nd edition tyrant, so the gw bitz didnt feel right. I am going to use them for my shrikes tho. I wouldnt reccomend making them from scratch, but many props to you if you go that path, and i wasnt joking with the davinci wing prototypes, its basic structure will help you design a wing properly, i think so anyways
